Demo Projects

Are you looking for ideas for new effects? Then, this project will help you. In our second Spot on! livestram (in German) we introduced different light effects that can be created with the effects of DMXControl 3. In order to give you the opportunity to look at the structure of the light effects and also experiment a little bit with it, this is the DMXControl 3 project, which was created during the livestream. In addition, we have also packed the matching Easy View stage in the zip file, so that you can have a look at the results right away.

What would a project in DMXControl 3 look like, with which you can control your lights in a live club event of a band or a DJ? In the video series "Clubshow with DMXControl 3" we take a look ath these questions and build such a project from scratch together with you.

In the first block we show you how to set up several DMX interfaces, how to create an extensive device patch and how to use the Stage View not only to create a tidy and effective programming environment for the further process, but also how to test the patch completely. Stefan will also introduce the devices in the setup for this Let's build a Project! series in detail.

This second block deals primarily with the creation of cuelists. How are the cuelists structured and sorted into the numerous cuelist groups according to which criteria, so that you can react flexibly to every situation during your show? Stefan explains the underlying concept and also shows you some nice effects, which can produce a great result in DMXControl 3 with little effort.

After numerous cuelists and cuelist groups have been prepared, the question surely arises: how can these be called effectively? In the third block of the video series, we focus the live show control. Stefan will take a quick look at the executors, before you join him in creating a small but not less functional Softdesk and then use the Input Assignment of DMXControl 3 to connect all parts. In addition, the control of of some cuelists via the keyboard is also part of this block.

Last but not least, after the three preparatory videos, it's finally time for you to see the result live in action. Based on two songs Stefan creates two live light shows.
